Summer Fun!

We have been very busy this summer. Already a week has flown by. I have read three books and I have working on number 4, 5, 6, and 7. I have been experimenting with making bread products. I have made soft pretzels, bread, and whole wheat pizza dough. I loved the pizza dough and that will probably be how I make pizza from now on. Mario ruined his with Bologna(Boys are so gross)!

This is our garden after the weeding but before the planting.

Here it is a week after I planted. The bricks were ones that were just in the patch of dirt, where I found many treasures while planting; including baby lizards, push pins, a giant piece of metal and a few other odds and ends left from the previous owners.

The tomatillos and green beans I planted from seeds a week ago have even started growing! I think next year I will turn my classroom into a green house and have my students do the gardening!

Mario and I made a trip to the beach to pick up the scouts from their bike trip! My new bangs do not look there best, but I was not feeling well that day.
We took a trip to the temple. Last but not least we went to Disneyland. Mario got scared when we went on Mark Twain's Riverboat.

Summer!

I have been up to a lot since school ended almost a week ago, and I have taken pictures of all of it, only I lost my camera cord and now have no way of putting my pictures on the computer. Here is a small summary of my latest happenings... I went to the beach, the temple, Lowe's to buy my gardening supplies, and a few more places. I planted a garden (late in the season I know but everyone told me that was ok), only a few of the plants look they are just going to die right now... which is an improvement! I have made several different types of bread, and my bread maker has only made me mad a couple of times. I have finished reading one book and now I am at the library getting a library card and checking more books out! Some day I will find the lost camera cord and my life will seem a whole lot more interesting! There is more to come on my exciting summer!
