Our New Home

Life has been crazy that last few days, so I figured I would get on here and let you enjoy some of our happiness. First of all, when we bought our condo it came with it's own stove. We were so happy we did not have to buy a new one with all the moving expenses. The first night we were there to clean, we heard a high pitch noise coming from the kitchen. Sure enough the timer on our not so new stove was wailing away. It was practically more than I could handle, so I banged on it till it stopped. Every night since we have moved in(nearly a month now, or maybe it has been a month), anyways, every night is the same thing, the high pitch noise, that we can barely handle. My husband, bless him, was trying to help a few days ago and took the stove apart to take out the timer, but he forgot to unplug it! YES! He blew up the stove! At least that is what he says, there was sparks of blue and white, and he nearly dyed! I am glad to say he is alive, and does not have burn on him, but the oven is no more. Bless his family, they came to the rescue with a new stove, I did not even know what hit me! We really are blessed that he did not get hurt, the house did not burn down and the only death was that of a stove that burned everything I tried to cook on it anyways.

We have had a few more small mishaps but nothing major, just Mario running into the screen down nearly knocking if off the hinges, and me tripping over a lip in the wood floor and nearly face planting it into the stairs. Life is fun and exciting for us! We love the regular day to day... getting to come home and see each other, and enjoying every funny moment in our lives! Our New Home

We finally closed escrow two weeks ago and now we are all moved in! We have been waiting for this moment, and now it is here. We moved in last Saturday and we still have boxes all over the place. There have been ups and downs but everything is so wonderful. A few funny things have happened, like when I went to make dinner and realised that everything I had planned to make for the week either involved a can opener or a potato peeler, neither of which we had. I nearly cried! Our oven cooks everything faster than lightening so I have burnt more than one meal( I really am a great cook, but I am sure Mario has no idea of that just yet, but he never complains). It is a great feeling that everytime something new breaks we get to fix it! So I will add pictures!
